MICCIAH CHANNEL: JULIE WINTER
Produced by Jon Child

Transcript of Program 119, 1989  [CC]

Some of Julie’s early work in channel from 1989 where Micciah discusses:
The greenhouse effect: Among the emanations that affect the biosphere are the sounds given off by TV sets, microwave ovens, etc. The earth will “find a way” to cleanse itself; to survive, humans must each enact their intention to relate responsibly to the earth and to Spirit. View Section
To encourage recycling: Live by core beliefs. Revere oneself and the personal environment as an ecology in its own right. Wake from the “trance of wanting more.” Ideas “catch” through the “psychic pool,” and via gossip. Be aware of serving the whole. View Section
Human evolution: There is a “radiant seed-form” of “Spirit- awareness,” which we are now trying to crack open. To do so we must acknowledge our interrelationship with everything else. View Section

Micciah: We greet you all, dear friends.

Julie: We do greet you, indeed. This is Micciah Channel, and I’m Julie Winter. Micciah is an energy entity who works with me while I’m in trance, and while I’m in the trance state I have access to a point of view that seems to come from a non-physical realm. This series of programs is drawn primarily from videotapes taken during my regular classes. We want to expand our circle and include your energy and interest in our work.
I want to thank all of you who have been watching and who have written to me. And what you are going to see is me, with my personality and intelligence, awareness, go into an altered state. And while I’m in that altered state, I join with other energies, or another energy, and produce the personality of Micciah. I have, in that state, an awareness that I don’t ordinarily have. And I’m going to respond to questions that my classes have asked me.

   ----------

Julie: This is a prayer basket. [holding prayer basket and demonstrating] These are prayers, affirmations, wishes, intentions. And what we do in healing class, in our circle, is write prayer slips for ourselves and for other people for whom we would like to offer affirmations of love and wholeness, as well as for the planet.
And we would like to include you who watch on television in the healing activities of this group. Then I lay hands on the prayer basket. [to the class] We could all lay hands on the prayer basket at the end.
We would like you to send in your prayer slips and make a big prayer basket so that we who are linked in this relatively abstract way of video can be linked as a circle, as a web of prayers and affirmations for peace and harmony.

Micciah: We greet you all, dear friends. And we are most happy to be invited to be with you.
It is essential for the continued growth and unfolding of this dimension, and your part in it as creatures, that you hold in your hearts the question of: what is it that is of service? What is it that can be given, through love and with love, to the whole? And absorbed back from the whole with safety?
We will proceed now to the questions.

Howard: Well, we’re all aware of the global warming —

   Micciah: Yes.

Howard: So what I want to know is, is the greenhouse effect becoming a reality? And, are there going to be natural processes that will help us balance that, or is disaster imminent? Or — what can be done, at this point, to prevent the earth from such a future?

Micciah: The so-called greenhouse effect is not, ah — exactly and precisely understood; yet it is a good rough description. We would add, to the general understanding of this warming effect, the sounds: the effect of all of the, ah — electrical frequencies and their sounds (60 cycles, and so forth), and the effect of sound on the biosphere of the earth and on the physical, bioelectrical shells of your body and upon the cells. So to the notion of the greenhouse effect we would add the effect of, ah — the sounds of power lines, and all of the emanations of television sets and computers.
We don’t think this is ordinarily factored in, but it belongs in the net effect of what is occurring on the planet.

Jon: Microwave cooking, is that — ?

   Micciah: Yes.
[Pause; then, quietly] Cooking your goose.

   [Laughter]

So — is there really a danger? Oh, yes. Absolutely. And the danger has existed for a long time. The effects, the subtle effects, have been ongoing and cumulative, ah ... and we can see several probabilities.
When you ask, Will the earth take care of itself? the answer is yes. And the planet may take care of itself by shrugging you, and all the microwave units, and all, all for the X-ray machines and all of the submarine plants, and so forth — that need radioactive parts — off.
We don’t think that will happen as a totality.
Another possibility is that each individual being acts responsibly toward the ecology of their own personal environment, be it emotional environment or the concrete environment; and that all of you show up in your environment — actively appear — in the creation of new patterns.
What do we mean by this? You say, Well — it doesn’t really make very much difference, does it, if Gwen stops buying plastic bags or if Julie wraps her garbage in newspapers. However, you are living in, ah — a psychic pool of communication; and, as Rupert Sheldrake has described in his work, you are susceptible to, ah — an energetic realm as yet uncalculated by science.
And this has to do with beliefs. With actions taken — actions whose intention and whose result affect everyone on a psychic level. So if many, many people bring their intention together through visualization or prayer or affirmation — whatever you would like to call it — and then back their intention up in action, it is catching.
You know how it is — we will give you a common example — that a fashion can catch on? Suddenly everyone is mysteriously wearing alligator rings, or has pink hair. This is partially the effect of the media representation and the speed at which new trends are communicated; but that is not all of it.
So. If you conceive of yourself as representing a possibility in this psychic pool, you will know that your intention and your actions have an effect beyond their immediately noticeable effect; and the acceptance of, ah — personal efficacy through connection with ... the greater spirit is a potent force.
So, you can take personal actions to divest yourself of those elements that are collaboratively damaging the whole biosphere. This will take more energy and intention than you imagine, and you might need to make something of a dance of it, a game of it, so that it doesn’t become, ah — a burden against which you will rebel.
So you understand this so far?

   Students: Yes.

Micciah: There are several levels of activity. One is a quality of Being — a quality of BEING — that is one of reverence toward the body (what you put into it), toward your emotional environment and your physical environment. And that affects what you do. The second is the willingness to allow yourself to be personally uncomfortable. And, ah — to build up a field, to generate a field of activity that has to do with protectiveness toward the environment and the earth.
Now ultimately the earth is going to find a way. The vastness of intelligence is going to find a way to eat radioactivity, to create lichens that digest plastics. Not that, specifically, but — the earth is going to find a way. But that will not necessarily include life as you know it.
[Pause. Almost a whisper] Hmm ... hmm ... please go on.
[Aloud] And the answer is an emphatic yes about the warming, although it is not perfectly understood. And it affects the bodies of sea creatures and the bodies of birds, of insects — it affects seeds!

   Howard: Um-hm.

   Micciah: [Whisper] Yes.

Lina: What can we do to speed up recycling, and to get away from the idea that incineration is the answer to the garbage crisis?

Micciah: Well, these two items are related. First, we would ask you all to look at your personal environments as an ecological system. Beginning right here — right here! Your self, your living room, your bureau drawers. What are you ... entranced with, not noticing that you have enough and more than enough? What do you need to recycle in your own lives, to awaken yourselves to ... being full, being satisfied?
You know you are (to go back to this notion of a psychic pool) — you are all somewhat entranced with the idea of needing more. We shouldn’t make a pun of trances; but you are sleepwalking, in a sense: wanting more, needing more, feeding on more. Even you.
How can you approach your own environment as an ecology? To share what you no longer need; to bless what you have; and to really be able to determine, when you want something, how that contributes to the whole — and if it does not, can you relinquish it?
Then, as we said earlier, you can act in a way that represents your core belief. It always seems as if the ecological question is being handled Out There — yes? — somehow; and it is enormous — it IS enormous. So, you can participate in organizations, in neighborhood collections; and most of all in doing the amount that you can do to change the system. It takes consistent consciousness.
And you — part of being entranced about wanting more is the sense of somewhat infantile rage and deprivation when you separate yourself from your confreres, and they are having more and you are saying, “I think not.” It is a hard place to maintain. It is, ah — a kind of voluntary simplicity — not a phrase that is new to us, but one that describes it well.
You can also, always, encourage an idea (as Starhawk says) by gossiping about it. Gossip about peace. To be excited about what you are doing in your own way to shift the consciousness and the general FIELD of consciousness with regard to caring for the planet.
Does that make sense? Do you want to ask further?

   Lina: No.

Micciah: To think of your environment as one of resources, and your relationship — you are also a resource! — your relationship to the resources of the environment. And for a while, if you really begin this, you may feel dislocated and somewhat, ah — mmm — discombobulated, ah — as you give up old ingrained habits and patterns.
Not only that! (We have one more thing to say about this.) When you begin to change patterns of this nature at a personal level, you alter your own biochemistry. When you change your relationship as a resource consciously — it’s not being forced on you, although it might conceivably have a similar effect — when you change, consciously, your relationship of yourself as a resource to the resources of your environment, and bring yourself to be in an awareness of service to the whole, your biochemistry changes and your glandular systems change. The electrical movement in your brain changes.
This may sound very extreme, yet we mean it sincerely, because when you awaken from a self-induced trance, much reorganizes in the physical system. It is — we could say — voluntary simplicity is energizing. You receive energy from it.
And then we could go on and say it depends on the consciousness in which you do it. Repression is not energizing, as I’m sure you can attest to.
Forcing yourself — NOT TO TAKE SOMETHING! — is not energizing.
   Please, do go on now.

   Frank: Micciah, ah —

   Micciah: [Whisper] Yes!

Frank: — granted that man was put on this earth for a purpose (let’s call it an experiment), and he has the God-given gift to self-evolve, to rise above that — as he was born, as a seed, to evolve and become something other than that: looking around at how things have progressed in recorded history and particularly in recent times, is there really a probability that man-KIND will evolve, or only a few men will, who will hold a hope for all of mankind?

   Micciah: PEOPLE-kind.

   Frank: People —

   Micciah: Kind people; people-kind.

   Frank: Hmm.

Micciah: All of creation is an experiment.
[Pause] Your ... [pause] we don’t really believe in evolution in the ordinary sense. This is because there have been, in what you perceive as the past, groups of entities — of humans — who were, ah — [louder; drawn out] — who were consciously part of the Third Force, the force that is, ah — the nest out of which dark and light emerge and dance.
There were upon this earth (and still are some) those of, ah ... of ... wisdom of capacities that you are trying to come back to. So we don’t perceive of evolution as starting with monkeys and ending up with you. We don’t know that that’s what you meant either, Frank; but just to set out here on the right foot.
[Emphatically] Yes, there is indeed the radiant seed-form which you all partake of; that you are attempting, now in this age of alchemical transformation, to nourish, to break — pop! — the seed of your Spirit-awareness open. And one of the aspects that is crucial to this awareness is your acknowledging the extent to which you are all interrelated and everything is a part of everything else. That has experiential wisdom — tangible, personal awareness and devotion to that as a principle. That’s what you’re talking about: how can you protect that principle — enliven it — quicken it!
Yes, you can, potentially, crack the seed-form, the way a seed cracks. To allow yourselves to be surrendered to the vastness of Spirit, the trust ... of Spirit, the generosity — the words are really too small for the concepts, for what we wish to convey.
Yes! Yes! And yes! again. And the opening of the form (bless you, Sandy!) [to sneezing student] — the opening is related to your willingness to embrace the self and All That Is with a sensitivity to the resources available.
Spirit can heal anything; so Spirit itself will take care of the earth. But that will not take care of YOU as an experiment in consciousness, and what you choose to do.

Micciah: We share with you all so much love.

   Student: [Sneezes]

   Micciah: [Whisper] Bless you.
And we bid you a very good ... evening.
