MICCIAH CHANNEL: JULIE WINTER
Produced by Jon Child

Transcript of Program 38, 1986

Some of Julie’s early work in channel from 1985 where Micciah discusses:
• Other energies or entities around us. We can become aware of them if we soften, open our conscious awareness. We can meet them in dreams and meditation. View Section
• Broadening and using creativity. Open to non-physical realms, to the Great Self, from which all creativity comes. “Ask...to be shown something you have never been shown before.” Risk being wrong, being foolish. “What is a greater demon in this culture than having something precious but not being able to prove where you got it?” View Section
• The value of confrontation in healing and psychotherapy. If you are confrontational in a loving, vulnerable way, it is healing. If it is done on a hard personality level, or as a theory, it is not very useful. View Section

Micciah:  We greet you all, dear friends.

Julie:  We do greet you, indeed.  This is Micciah Channel, and I’m Julie Winter.  Micciah is an energy entity who works with me while I’m in trance,  and while I’m in the trance state I have access to a point of view that seems to come from a non-physical realm.  This series of programs is drawn primarily from videotapes taken during my regular classes.  We want to expand our circle, and include your energy and interest in our work.

   ----------

Julie: I need my crystal. He’s going to do a demonstration lecture, the blue crystal.

Micciah: We greet you all, dear friends. We would like to start with your question, Carole.

Carole: Micciah, you’ve often told us that there are other entities with us while we are here in our meetings. I was wondering if you could tell us more specifically about who is here, now, what personas, personalities, and how we are communing and can better commune with them.

Micciah: Living in the physical world as you do, with the cultural beliefs that you have, you imagine that this focus, this physical focus, is reality, but really it is like the crystal. [holds up the blue crystal] Well, it is not exactly like the crystal, but we will use the crystal as an example.
Let’s say that your physical self is here, is this particular facet of the crystal, so this is “Carole.” Connected to and interwoven with this facet are other dimensions which include other selves that are attached to the thread of your physical focus, other reincarnational selves, and also include other realms as “I,” we are speaking to you from another realm. So if you soften the edges of your awareness, if you open in consciousness to all that is really there, you will become distinctly aware of presences, not bodies, presences, of people whom you have loved, who are joining you in energy. Let us say this is the realm you are in, they are joining you from their realm, and by shifting and opening your awareness, you can be with them. And there are threads, or facets, of presences from realms that deal with teaching and healing and philosophy and creativity and art. All that has appeared in your world in terms of creative expression represents the various realms — painting and dancing and architecture and mathematics. Everything is representative of one or another facet that is naturally connected with the physical realm. You float like a crystal of consciousness, with all these possibilities around you, next to you, interpenetrated with you. But you cut them off.
So who is here? There are representatives from areas that deal with healing, presences or — it’s hard to explain — essences of beings who are not in the physical world, who come to partake of your life and your experience. And, you see, they learn from you just as you do your processes, your meditations, your channeling if you channel, your art. And you learn from those realms, yes? So they learn from you. It has often been said that the earth plane is very low on the totem pole of development, yes, it is a schoolroom where consciousness is very dense. We would like to disabuse you of that notion. This is an ecstatic realm. This is an extraordinary place to be. It is an enormous challenge and privilege to be here. So, just as you might do a process and say, “Well, I will go into my deep self, my widely connected self, and explore dream time.” Or explore, as “this one” does when she channels, a realm of healing and philosophy and teaching, so the presences and essences of other realms are here; and it is great joy for them to be acknowledged. When your body dies, when the body goes in the linear world, in this little focus here, [pointing to to a facet on the crystal] when this goes, it is a great pleasure for the energy that was in a form to be able to speak, to communicate with this realm. But in your culture you cut this off, generally speaking, yes? So you meet in dream time. Dream time is real. Really real. It is just as real as this. And even this, this facet that you call the physical world, this focus, is held together by agreement and is constantly recreated out of very mushy edges, very soft, loose, spacious. So, as you become aware of how spacious it is, you also become aware of the other realms. And everything by that is enhanced.
One way that this planet has gotten into the straights that you are in, in terms of group belief and unnecessary suffering, has been to cut off awareness, to make the edges hard, to cut off the real knowledge and teaching of dream time, of meditation, of the aspects of other worlds and other realms that are always seeking to communicate with you, to support you, and assist you, and guide you. So the room is full, but fortunately they don’t take up any rear-end room. And you can feel it. And it is different from time to time. Sometimes, entities who are about to incarnate into a body, for instance, will show up in a group such as this, to prepare, to make a bridge between the nonphysical realm and the apparently more solid world. But you see to them you look transparent. You only think you’re solid. Does that explain some of it?

Carole: Yes. Micciah, do we look like... We look transparent. Does that mean that we look like ourselves only you can see through us? Or look...

   Micciah: Like energy.

   Carole: ...just like energy.

Micciah: Color. It depends on the way that the other realm perceives. You don’t look the same to everyone, so to speak. And to some, you don’t “look” at all. You sound.
   Please go on.

Michael: Micciah, when we spoke last, you mentioned that we use a very narrow scope of our available creativity. And I wondered if you would give us more information on how to broaden the scope of our creativity and perhaps specifics on how we can help to develop that.

Micciah: Well, we will use our crystal again, our handy crystal. These two questions fit together. One way that you can expand your awareness, or deepen your awareness, is indeed precisely to open yourself to a realm that is a connecting or interpenetrating one with the physical. Your linear mind, your talking mind, is useful, but it is not very creative. It is the part of the self that observes, that judges, that assesses, but you need to move away from it, to embrace the totality of your creativity, to ask your dreams specifically, specifically, for creative guidance, to ask in a waking, meditative state to be given information, forms, movement, music, whatever your mode. Like the crystal, this is the ordinary facet of mind, and mind is connected all around. You think this is an analogy! This is literally true.
So, fine, how do you do that? You can do it in dream time, asking specifically before you sleep to be given a creative path. You have to do it, you know. It’s not just going to magically float before you. It involves some commitment and some effort. You can ask, when you meditate, to be shown something you have never been shown before. If you are a painter or a photographer, you can go into a slightly altered state of consciousness by relaxing your breath, letting go, and allowing it to move you. And then you have to have the courage to take the risk to experiment with it. You can write in an altered state of consciousness. These things are not mysterious, or no more mysterious than anything else. Sit in a relaxed state, meditate on receiving... Don’t think about what you want. The talking mind always has, you know, “I would like this. And it has to be this way.” This is a process of opening yourself to one of these other facets, even if it seems foolish. Take the risk. And in healing too, for those of you who work with people, with bodies. What’s possible? Sit with spaciousness, with love, with emptiness, with the breeze wafting across your nose, and ask to communicate with the realm of dance. Write down what you get. And then use it. The talking self is very quick to cancel it out, yes? To say, “No! Silly, silly. Doesn’t work, doesn’t work.” Risk and patience. And something that we mentioned some months ago: the power to dance with your demons. The demon of being foolish, of being wrong, of failing. And what is a greater demon in this culture, of having something precious but not being able to prove where you got it. How do you know that that is a new form for a painting? Or a dance, or a song, or healing? Who will give you the right? Who will give you the right if you will not give yourselves the right? It is all there. It is all available. Ask. Take in. Find the form it wants to follow. And use it. And in using your creative totality, you can draw from other lifetimes. Again, our crystal. Lucky we asked for it.
So you are this face, or this face, Jill’s face, Julie’s face, Arthur’s face. And dancing with you are the many lifetimes that resonate with this face, or this one. And you can ask your own Great Self to show you or tell you, give you, something you need to know from another facet of the crystal. If there is an area where you lack, where you feel at a loss, or hopeless, or stuck, ask another self to tell you. You say, “Oh, well, I tried it once, it didn’t work.” You have to try it more than once. Think of the numbers of times you have repeated the inner beliefs that are running your life. Hundreds of times. “You can’t do that, you can’t do that, you can’t do that, you can’t do that.” And we will tell you something else. It is not hard and difficult, even if it involves effort. It can be joyful, exciting. Living in the way that you do is like having a banquet available and putting one little string bean on your plate. [laughter] We say yes, yes, there is real food on the table! “No, just this bean.” No, there is all this food here! Out here, in here! “No, just one bean.”
   So, please go on.

Barbara: What is the nature of confrontation in healing and psychotherapy?

Micciah: What is the nature of confrontation? Well, we will say it depends on the consciousness with which it is done. If you take someone and you say, either literally or metaphorically, “I want to confront your personality,” then that is just more abuse, in the same way that it would not work to say to Mordecai, the cat, “I want to confront you.” He would know how he felt about it. [laughter] Try to get his paw out! So, the personality self is really not confrontable. It simply eludes, manipulates, dances. It’s not confrontable, because it’s going to protect itself at all costs.
So, let us say in psychotherapy, one personality self confronting another personality self is just two personalities in confrontation, and it won’t heal anything. It’s noisy. To confront something, to open awareness to something, to really open, the intention must be love. Now you could have a loving, confrontational style, where the deep tissue of your being moved in that kind of dance with the depth of another person’s being. To reveal what is really there and to allow the source, the soup, to flow through you, through all of you, unimpeded, is what healing is. So we would say it depends on the intention; and it depends on whether it is done personality to personality, whether it is done as a theory, which is particularly useful. Like animals, human beings — you are animals — respond to love. If you are able to be confrontational in a vulnerable way, “Ah ha, this is it.” Then that promotes healng. If you are confrontational in a hard way, then it does not, whether you are working psychotherapeutically, with the emotional body, whether you are working physically. That is it. It is the quality of the vulnerable heart. And whether that is palpably available in the confrontation or whether it is shut down that makes the difference. So it is not confrontation itself but the spirit that indwells it. And it is precisely that quality that allows another person to hear, to feel, to let you in. Otherwise a confrontation is just slamming together.
So... we bid you a very good evening.

Julie: Channeling is a little like that. [Her cat Hummingbird balances behind her at the top of a fence] That’s the end for now.
What we do in class at the end of a session is go over the information, talk about it, evaluate it, find out what works for us individually and what doesn’t. And we invite you to do the same.
Several final words. The thread that runs through my work of, which the channeling is one aspect, is healing. So, the thread of healing goes through my work with individuals, my teaching, my lecturing, my writing. And that healing, I believe, comes from a truthful exploration of one’s relationship with spirit. Spirit heals through us, and that healing enables us to be with the sacred nature of everyday life. I urge you to use your prayers and meditations toward experiencing the joy and sacred nature of life itself.

ONSCREEN VISUAL DISCLAIMER:
Julie: “This channeling is meant to be a spiritual, emotional, intellectual, heartful, mindful journey that I share with another realm, that I share with my classes and that we all share with you. Please go over the material, evaluate it for yourself, and know what it is that you think about it.”
