MICCIAH CHANNEL: JULIE WINTER
Produced by Jon Child

Transcript of Program 137, 1990  [automated CC]

Some of Julie’s early work in channel from 1989 where Micciah discusses:
Why it’s hard to access greater consciousness: we make it so by denying Spirit. Fear stops us, especially fear of being called “Fool!” To ease access: practice entering the stillness. View Section
The essence that dreams one’s life: has no appearance, but has its own tone, a fragment of the “great Silence.” “You are ... the great dreamer, the composite sound of all the strings.” View Section
To alter the dream of one’s self: shift the frequencies of one’s tuning system to pick up other fragments and the “ripened conjunctions of greater toning” that effect mass transformation. There is no barrier to Spirit (except fear). View Section

Micciah: We greet you all, dear friends.

Julie: My Name is Julie Winter, and this program is called Micciah Channel.
And what you are going to see is me, going into an altered state of consciousness, a non ordinary state of awareness. And what I believe happens when I am in that state is that I enter an expanded geography of the self, and that there is an overlap between what I know (my intelligence, my awareness, my experience) and something that is larger than my ordinary awareness. It may indeed be that it is all part of my awareness and that would be fine. What’s produced is a personality that is a product of this overlapping and the personality is called Micciah.
My voice is going to change and it is my own voice. The variations in speech have to do with my being in an altered state.
The program is created from my classes. My students bring questions in. We encourage you to ask questions, to ask questions about channeling, about my channeling, whatever. And use your discernment in evaluating the information that comes through.

   ----------

Micciah: We will begin with the first question. How does it come to be that you are creatures of such diverse intensity, possibilities, and delight? How does it come to be that your true heritage, which lies within the power of dreaming and knowing, should be so difficult to have access to? Yes — that is the question?

   Sheldon: Yes.

Micciah: First of all, the way in which you conceive of yourself within your focus personality (the immediate personality — Sheldon, Ione, Frank, etc.) is very much influenced in this matter, at least initially — no, not initially; midway through your growing — through the group dream, through the cocoon of the group entrancement.
Within life, as you have created it in this time and in this culture, you actually use energy — you use dynamic force — to keep out the power of your dreaming and your imagining, your affirming, your knowing. You use energy to keep yourself from glimpsing these various truths, which are pulsating and singing all around you and within you but which have been officially dropped out of the group trance. So you as a small child were not likely to encounter (although you might have) a family wherein you told your dreams, your sleep-dreams, when you woke in the morning; you told them to each other and sorted them through and attended to them.
You could ask another question, which is: How is it that some cultures create themselves blinding themselves, apparently willfully, to the unimaginable power of Spirit as it flies through your cells, as it roller-coasters through every aspect of creaturehood?
It is an experiment to drop it out and then struggle your way back. It is a product of what has come of a certain stream of development, involving the will and the absolute validity of the concrete world as final truth, and machines, and all of these things: control, in the psychological sense.
So, you have made it very difficult. Then you have dreamt yourself into this culture — all of you for whom this is at cross purposes with what you have become aware of, yes? You are aware that the richness, the divinity, that will feed you and that you may cherish, is, ah — elusive to you.
That is the first part, yes?

   Sheldon: Yes.

Micciah: Second part: How do you find access?

Sheldon: Part of it is: Are there periods in our life, our conscious life, when we can alter the initial dream?

Micciah: You can alter the dream of your self — vastly! Every time, all time.
[Aloud] Again, it takes energy, it takes effort to stay away from the vastness of love and creativity that is available. To deny what is available to you, your true power, takes — takes energy. Takes it. TAKES it.
There is an intense yearning within every aspect of creaturehood, each in its own way, to be joined with the One. When you are living in the midst of this particular kind of denial, where your dreaming and your affirming and your luminous inner world and your power to heal are denied, you become exhausted and depleted. And in the depletion, you start to seek more and more outer-world stimulation: music, movement. We are not against musical movement; but there becomes a voracious craving to wake up the energy, which you have a natural heritage for in you — if you will be still.
One of the chief pathways to have access to this vitality is through being able to enter the stillness. A stillnessss ... letting the stillness have a place in your life, in your rituals. There are many ways — rituals of dreaming, of protecting the precious life and the guidance of dream-time; and that too takes an appreciation of stillness to enter into. You must be still to touch the fire and hear the music and the breath of where this yearning is in you and how it can be fed.
Can you change your dreaming? Very easily. If you don’t stop yourself from changing, if you don’t use your energy to try and keep things the same (which of course you cannot do), change will ride through you spontaneously.
   Is this clear so far?

   Sheldon: Yes.

Micciah: What stops you? Fear. One of the great fears is about the loss of control, and the shaming — which results, in your culture, from the fear of those who — mmm — are living an emptied-out, a hollow existence. And it is communicated to you clearly that you will be shamed, through THEIR fear, if you are a fool. “Fool! Fool!” You are not allowed to be foolish. And yet the entry into oneness, and the power of conscious dreaming and praying and celebrating; all of these things — the possibility of miracles and healing — [shouting] REQUIRE YOU TO BE A FOOL!
So there is a blockade in the emotional body — a barrier — and a voice, perhaps, that says, “Don’t go after these areas! Don’t do that! You will be ashamed.” It takes courage and responsibility and community to enable you to make these voyages successfully.
   Do you understand?

   Sheldon: Yes.

Micciah: Ask more if you don’t understand, if something is not clear so far.

Sheldon: It’s not exactly unclear, but the part that I don’t know is — the essence that dreams my life, or dreamed it before I was born —

Micciah: And after you were born, and, ah — so forth —

Sheldon: — what form is that existence, what form is that consciousness, what — I mean — does it look like me and dreams me, or is it a river that dreams me, or what?

Micciah: Everything dreams you. Yes: the river dreams you, and the crow dreams you, and you dream them in return. Everything that exists is dreaming everything else that exists.
That is not quite what you mean. It is so; but what you — what is the essence? Does the essence of your dreamer look like Sheldon?

Sheldon: And who makes the decision: “Yes, you’re now ready to be born”?

Micciah: It is different for different people, but — let’s take one piece at a time. Does the essence of Howard that is dreaming Howard look like Howard? No. It doesn’t look like anything. It doesn’t have a physical form, and therefore it doesn’t “look” at all.
Let’s see [sharp sigh] if we can describe this:
We said, earlier, that there are strings — yes? — that connect everything, everywhere, everywhere that you can conceive of, and places — unplaces — that you cannot conceive of.
You, Howard or Sheldon, have, ah ... [sigh] a sound. [Slowly and drawn out] You are, as the great dreamer, the composite sound of all the strings. You are ... tones, and the relationship of tones to each other.
You could say that there is one enormous tone that is so completely filled that it IS the Silence; and that tone emanates from the heart of the Logos, of Spirit, of God.
And in its emanation, it fragments. So it is both whole and complete. It is all sound, and it is absolutely STILL. And it is where you go, so to speak, when you enter the stillness: it is what you are yearning for.
And when that tone coming from the heart of creation pours forth, it fragments. And when it fragments, then it becomes the great dreamer who is each of you.
When are you — who decides that you are ready to be born? When your strings and your sounds are so filled with the fire of yearning that they cannot endure a moment longer, they fly together to create manifestation.
Now — we have never said this before; and using language, wrapping the concepts into the words, is very clumsy. But we are also trying to get something through this one that is — other, that is new.
In the dreaming of your bodies and your selves, you are the relationship of the tones. And you can change them and their relationship to each other as you shift the tuning in your system. You are — you are tuning systems. When you move the frequencies, you will pick up other fragments of the great Silence. And then it will change you.
   Are you with us?

Students: Yes, we are. Yes. Yes, we’re here. Yes.

   Micciah: All right. Now.
   [Pause; sigh]
Since you are not acting solely on your own (even though Westerners like to think they are), you are responding to the sounding of ALL of the strings as they move. And there are what you experience in time as ... ripened conjunctions of greater toning, into which you can shift your awareness if you are ready, which then have an alchemical transforming effect — so that you can see a group of individuals go along for a certain period of time and then all at once, seemingly, [sharp exhalation] there is a shift in the entire population; and it is then that you have come to one of these ripened points and been able to personally resonate with it, or pluck it into your tuning system.
One of the ways to allow yourself to move in concert with these great tones of transformation is to let yourself be in your yearning for the Silence.
So there is no larger Sheldon, who looks like you, putting together the pieces.
And the toning itself is an emanation of love, which keeps trying to reflect itself in its creation.
There is no barrier to Spirit. Only fear, which in the outer history of the world (now, listen — this is important!) appears in its mask. In the inner history of the world, you have all the silence and all the sound, and all the love; and it is never — we repeat, NEVER — interfered with. But in the outer skin, just as your body can become ill and decay, fall apart (that is the outer, and that rises and falls continuously) — just as that can happen, and does happen, and Spirit is never disturbed: it pours through everything. Just as it can happen with your body, it happens in cultures.

Julie: That’s the end of this particular segment... of this particular adventure. And this channeling is meant to be a spiritual, emotional, intellectual, heartful, mindful journey that I share with another realm, that I share with my classes and that we all share with you.
Please go over the material, evaluate it for yourself, and know what it is that you think about it.
