Some of Julie’s early work in channel from 1990 where Micciah discusses:
• The “vast, boiling forces” now working quickly to bring us into confrontation with our fear-based beliefs. The enormous yearning of all creaturehood for us to awaken. Our need to open wide enough to encompass suffering and find grace within it; to honor the enemy. Acts of faith. “You are trying to tell yourselves you are in jeopardy.” This is Armageddon. Middle East: “very strong heartbeat for peace.” All-out war can be averted. “The water of this planet is very seriously endangered.” There will be more earthquakes, tidal waves, etc. Work within ourselves, serve, praise life.
Micciah: We greet you all, dear friends.
Julie: My Name is Julie Winter, and this program is called Micciah Channel.
And what you are going to see is me, going into an altered state of consciousness, a non‑ordinary state of awareness. And what I believe happens when I am in that state is that I enter an expanded geography of the self, and that there is an overlap between what I know (my intelligence, my awareness, my experience) and something that is larger than my ordinary awareness. It may indeed be that it is all part of my awareness and that would be fine. What’s produced is a personality that is a product of this overlapping and the personality is called Micciah. My voice is going to change and it is my own voice. The variations in speech have to do with my being in an altered state.
The program is created from my classes. My students bring questions in. We encourage you to do the same. And use your discernment in evaluating the information that comes through.
Micciah: We greet you all, dear friends. And we are most pleased to be with you in the continuing play and exploration that you are all engaged in.
This is a time of vast, boiling forces that are bringing to the surface those mass beliefs that you hold that are based in fear. All of the hatred, the violence, the massing of weaponry (the big fist in the Middle East), the starvation in your own city, the hatred in South Africa: all of it ... is an attempt to make your own path, to make your own choosing, visible to you. And it is all happening at a time when your technological — what you call “advances” — make it possible to see it all so quickly, to read it all, to hear it all. You are plugged in as you have never been before in the history of this planet: in a technological sense, you are plugged in to the pain, and it is happening with such swiftness. There has never before been a time, for instance, when vast forces of destruction could be massed so quickly as they have been in the Middle East. It used to be the same intentionality — to show great force — but it would take weeks and months to move troops of soldiers on horseback, or by ship, or whatever, to the place of confronting the enemy.
So, it is now boiling very quickly — Hhhoo! [unvoiced exhalation] — out of consciousness [smacks hands together] into manifestation, into confrontation, faster and faster.
[Slowly, emphatically.] And it is all the same old hatreds. The essence of the dance is the same.
[Quieter.] But the point in consciousness is different. You are at a point when you are, ah — almost attempting to hurl yourselves, to fling yourselves into a wider understanding, into a wider reality. To move everything so quickly! And show it to yourselves so violently — that you must crack the armor, break the carapace, and fall headlong into Spirit, into prayer, into faith, into mercy. It is as if you make it so enormous that it (it being the violence) fills the whole screen; and the only place you can turn, finally, is upward, or (if you prefer) inward.
It is like saying: “This — this isn’t going to work. This isn’t going to work. The violence doesn’t solve anything; it has never solved anything; [more and more quickly] it isn’t going to work, it isn’t going to work, it isn’t going to work, it isn’t going to work, it isn’t going to work — [shouting] IT ISN’T GOING TO WORK!!! It is not a solution.”
And there is enormous yearning, on the part of all creatures — not only human creatures. On the part of the animals, and the angelic realms of the trees, and water, rocks — vibrating out, rippling out into the galaxies. There is such yearning for you to awaken.
[Deep sigh; then, slowly.] What is called for here is the capacity to enter the Silence. To find mercy in your own heart. To be respectful of the process; to honor even the suffering. That is to say: you open yourselves wide enough to encompass the suffering, knowing that somewhere, even in that fire, is grace. We are not recommending suffering. And yet — in order to heal it, you must include it all. In the same way that if you have a disease, if you have cancer, and you receive radiation your skin is burned from it, then you hold it in your hands with love, and say — “Yes, you are most blessed. You are most blessed.” Because, if you repudiate the burn, if you push away the suffering, then you have not opened wide enough to go beyond what you understand and hold it all as grace.
It is a most difficult task, to honor the enemy — yes? Not to agree; not to say, “Yes, what a marvelous idea to have weapons and kill some more people!” But still, to honor Spirit, which is where you understand it to be and also where you do not understand it to be.
Are you honoring the disease if you say, “Well, the skin is burned. Bless you, bless you! Isn’t it a wonderful thing to have cancer!”? Sometimes, in fact, in people’s lives it has been wonderful. Putting that aside: No; but you are honoring the wound, and you are honoring God ... in that which needs to be healed. You are honoring Spirit in that which is crying out for healing. So the wound is crying out for healing. [Tears appear in her eyes, briefly.}
Those who are wounded, who are massing their weapons, who are filled with hatred and the desire to kill: you are honoring Spirit within them that is — operating as a wound. Do you understand what we are getting at?
Micciah: And it is in no way saying, “Yes, it is all right. I’d be happy to pay my tax money to make more wars.” It is the capacity to honor something spiritually while at the same time, in the concrete world, you work for peace — and you work for it through your own meditations and through the seed forms of your own life, where you do reflect the violence. Although, as we have said, most of you reflect it towards yourselves. You are at a stage where you are not going to go out and be violent toward another person; you are not going to smash someone on the head, or spray them with poison gas. But you are still, in some degree, in a relationship of cruelty toward yourself [parody of a smothered snarl]: “Oh, I — I HATE myself when I do — this, that, or the other thing. I am in the hating of myself.”
What is called for is enormous patience, and fortitude; and action that is taken on behalf of your faith. Acts of faith. Faith is not, ah — quiescent. It has an active component. So when you, individually, live in relationship to yourself and everything you touch coming from your faith; when you act in faith and with faith, you are making a — a balm — b-a-l-m — for the wound.
Sandy, is this what you are asking?
Sandy: Yes. Except — further than that is to — it is — I understand the coming to fore, but it is such a boiling circumstance; and whether or not our earth’s placement, our — the whole society, since everything happens so fast, is placed in a position of jeopardy. What is the best way to handle it? Or are we not placed in a position of jeopardy?
Micciah: Well — you have been in jeopardy for a long time. You have had — you sort of forget — not you personally, but you forget about that there are these things flying around that have enormous power toward destruction.
[Deep sigh.] Yes, you are trying to tell yourselves you are in jeopardy.
[Pause.] It is like making a switch in your consciousness: to say, “I am going to do what I can do, and I surrender the rest to Spirit. I give it over. I do what I can do, and I give it over. I give it over. And I give it over.” It is an act of faith.
It is very difficult not to get — not to entrain. You know what it is — is it clocks, Jon, that will line up? The pendulums of clocks, so they all move the same way?
Jon: I’m not sure what you’re referring to.
Micciah: When you set pendulums in motion, on clocks, eventually they entrain, so they are all synched up. It is difficult not to catch hold of the fear part, and start to run the mantra of, “We will all be destroyed we will all be destroyed we will all be destroyed we will all be destroyed [fading out] we will all be destroyed ...” To withdraw your energy from that — gently. Not to be in opposition to it; simply to (or not so simply) to withdraw your energy from it.
If we look at the energies around the Middle East — [with a laugh] strangely enough, there is a very strong heartbeat, pulse, toward peace. And then there are conflagrations that burst out: [whispered] Pah! Pah! Pah! And — can you avert war — can you? Yes. You can simply take that as — whatever energies come through this one as an opinion. The opinion is Yes, you can avert war. All-out, large-scale war — yes, you can.
[Pause.] We said a long time ago, many years ago — this question has been asked over and over again, in various forms — that the most difficulty would come around the Middle East. Not Russia; not China. The Holy Land — a place that is called the Holy Land — where there has never been peace for five thousand years.
Is there more about that, or shall we go on?
Sandy: I guess just whether or not the Biblical Armageddon has any validity whatsoever?
Micciah: You’re living in it. This is it. This isn’t something else. Can it escalate? Yes. This is it! You are — in the boil! You mean, is the scenario as written going to transpire, absolutely, in this plane of action? Don’t know.
[Pause.] We have also said this before: the water of this planet is very seriously endangered. You cannot live without water! You can make do without fossil fuel if you have to. People made do without it for a very long time, on the scale that it is used now. But you cannot make do without water.
In the unfolding of the earth’s pattern (the earth has its own — the earth is an entity; it is a body. It has its own ... unfolding, its own rhythm) you are going to have further upheavals. If you trace the number of earthquakes and tidal waves and so forth over the last fifty years, you will see that there have — that there are a greater number than there were in the previous hundred and fifty.
And we also wish you not to get — don’t get sucked into that one! The place to work is within yourselves, in your own healing and meditation practice, and also in the world, as your service. And, yes; you are in a time of upheaval, of intense upheaval, of intensifying upheaval — and it is a time of healing. So you be the voices that say, “It is a time of healing. And we are working to make that happen.”
And another ingredient that is so essential is the ingredient of praise. Of praising life, and praising the — the — the love that you encounter; praising the food that you eat. We know — the thinking mind says, “Heyyy, I know about that! I know about that.” Are you in the habit of it?
[Whisper.] So. [Aloud.] We hope you will go over this and talk about it so it becomes integrated.
We want to remind you that you are surrounded always by your guardians; that there is sustenance and divine love always available.
And we share with you much energy and much love. And we bid you a very good, and joyful, evening.
Julie: That’s the end of this particular segment... of this particular adventure. And this channeling is meant to be a spiritual, emotional, intellectual, heartful, mindful journey that I share with another realm, that I share with my classes and that we all share with you.
Please go over the material, evaluate it for yourself, and know what it is that you think about it. So long.
