Some of Julie’s early work in channel from 1990 where Micciah discusses:
The Prayer Basket View Section
Will there always be the joy of inner conflict, even at the macrocosmic level? “Absolutely.” The point is not to erase creative conflict but to eliminate fear and unnecessary suffering. Spirit always yearns to feed us. “Give back! Not to repay, but for the ecstasy.” AIDS: teaches new patterns of maleness, a new relationship with the “great Opposite,” death. Our separation: the Creator has faith that we’ll return home. View Section
The unicell: A structure in the brain that contains everything, “Knows that it knows,” and emits signals that resonate at crosspoints along the body’s meridians. As we awaken, these centers of Knowing are enlivened; we live in consciousness of being the galaxies, the grasshopper. View Section

Micciah: We greet you all, dear friends.

Julie: My Name is Julie Winter, and this program is called Micciah Channel.
And what you are going to see is me, going into an altered state of consciousness, a non-ordinary state of awareness. And what I believe happens when I am in that state is that I enter an expanded geography of the self, and that there is an overlap between what I know (my intelligence, my awareness, my experience) and something that is larger than my ordinary awareness. It may indeed be that it is all part of my awareness and that would be fine. What’s produced is a personality that is a product of this overlapping, and the personality is called Micciah.
My voice is going to change and it is my own voice. The variations in speech have to do with my being in an altered state.
The program is created from my classes. My students bring questions in. We encourage you to ask questions, to ask questions about channeling, about my channeling, whatever. And use your discernment in evaluating the information that comes through.

   ----------

Julie: [holding prayer basket and demonstrating] This is a prayer basket. These are prayers, affirmations, wishes, intentions. And what we do in heal¬ing class, in our circle, is write prayer slips for ourselves and for other people for whom we would like to offer affirmations of love and wholeness, as well as for the planet.
And we would like to include you who watch on television in the healing activities of this group. Then I lay hands on the prayer basket. [to the class] We could all lay hands on the prayer basket at the end.
We would like you to send in your prayer slips and make a big prayer basket so that we who are linked in this relatively abstract way of video can be linked as a circle, as a web of prayers and affirmations for peace and harmony.

Joy: Hi, Micciah. My question is: often it’s said that Earth is the microcosm of the macrocosm; and it’s often said that in the macrocosm you will have this great inner peace. And that always disturbed me, because the most wonderful thing about life is the inner conflict, and overcoming it; and that’s what makes it so joyful. Will there always be, even if it’s perceived totally differently, inner conflicts and growth? And change?

Micciah: Absolutely. The question is to my point. It is not to eliminate conflict — period, but — to be with the process of the earth’s incarnation until unnecessary suffering is no longer with you.
   [Sigh. Whisper.] Just a moment.
To live in a realm that births itself and appears in physical form as duality will always spark challenge.
[Sigh.] You have so much creative play available to you as you ride the waves of consciousness. So much! And in your coming back to Spirit en masse, you open the sluicegates to a kind of joyful creative conflict — it is like the conflict of artistry: of struggling to write a magnificent book, or dance a dance or paint a painting, or raise a child. Or be, ah — in exalted relationship, prayerful relationship, with nature. You have noticed that nature has its own apparent conflicts, yes? The earth vomits and bursts out lava, or you have a drought, or intensely freezing weather. There will always be plenty of opportunity to have that sparkle!
And you will then be able to use it; or — as you liberate yourselves, more and more, individually, and as your groups do — you are free to use this enormous, miraculous energy in ways you have not for — since before what you deem history. So, so much will not be absorbed ... in the suffering of fear, the suffering of fear. Faith casts out fear!
And while that is true, sometimes the fear brings you home. So, we must say: “Yes, that is grace also, mm? Yes, and that too. Yes — and we must not exclude that from grace.” Still, you are yearning for other ways to do — other ways to do it. To use what is available to you.
Hai! [Vocalized sigh.] So you are not starving at the banquet [covers eyes with hands], saying, “There is no food here. No food — no food — no food ...” and yet Spirit is always yearning to feed you ... the Grandmothers, the Grandfathers ... [whisper] to feed you ...
So you are turning, in your beliefs — yes? in your mass beliefs — to say: “There is food here. Ah, there is food here! There is food here.”
Give back! Give back! Give back! Another aspect of faith. There is much talk now about co-dependency as the latest word streaming through (or maybe we are a bit behind the times; it is last season’s word). We don’t mean to make fun; it is — useful. But it is important [undertone of laughter] not to get mixed up in your spiritual life — hmm — not to confuse the notion of psychological boundaries (which are necessary and which do support your growth) with giving through faith.
Give back! You have never given back to the earth — you as a culture — more than you got! You have taken more. Regard each situation, at least, from the perspective of Spirit — at least entertain it. “How can I give back?” Not to repay, but [amused] for the ecstasy of all of it flowing through you.
The Queen of Heaven descends, and her veil is gone! You are ready to have courageous faith, embodied as the Feminine. And tender faith embodied as the Masculine.
In this terrible — in some ways, terrible — plague of what you call the AIDS crisis, one part of that (only one part) has been the teaching offered by those who — those men who came in to help create a new pattern of maleness, and also a new and implacably faith-full relationship with death. The great Opposite that you see, in addition to Male/Female, is Life/Death. Yes? We have said this before. You hold them as opposites. But only in the most limited, concrete sense. And yes, that sense is — so. But it is not the big picture.
[Pause. Sigh.] Nothing that happens is just happening here! Everything is happening — everywhere! You are in the midst of being a black hole ... and a blue planet. And a piece of a far galaxy.
   [Deep sigh.]
   Please go on —

Ken: I have a question, but I also have a comment about what you last said.

   Micciah: Yes —

Ken: I’ll state my question first. I’ve been reading about a unicell at the base of the brainstem that contains, supposedly, all of — ah — all of everything; not only the DNA of the entire being, but the —

   Micciah: But everything.

Ken: — but the planetary, and the — all of that as well.

   Micciah: Hm — yes.

Ken: All right. I’m going to backtrack and make a comment about what you were just talking about.

   Micciah: Please!

Ken: When you’re talking about faith, it seems — in listening to you, it seems — um — so self-evident! I mean, it just seems like — it’s such truth. And yet — I wonder why we, as humans, have been thrust into the separation so far away, to rediscover that. Why, if it’s so evident and so natural —

Micciah: Because that is the faith of the Creator: that you [with a laugh] will come back home. We’re not — everything we say, you know is — is — oversimplified, and — right and not right [with a laugh] — but, really; you are — you come into this plane to experiment with will, and with playing Hide-and-Seek with Spirit. And you are so loved that you are, ah — given a way to do that, and to come home.

Ken: And when we find our way back home —

   Micciah: [Whisper.] Yes —

Ken: — enriched, in the fullness of faith —

   Micciah: [Whisper.] Yes —

Ken: — does that enrich the whole?

   Micciah: Absolutely.

   Ken: So —

Micciah: But, you see — in a way, so does your struggle enrich everything. We don’t want to be in the split of: “Ohhh — the struggle is very bad, it is very bad.” It’s very sad, in a, in — in a sense — mm — but it isn’t — mm! How to keep [out] shame, and guilt — ech! — all of that toxic — pfp! — mm — stuff that stops the creative process! Although even that is all right, in the greater sense that the struggle itself is fertile. If you get large enough the whole thing is fertile.
There is, ah — there are — there are — hm. This one has never heard particularly, specifically, of a unicell. But this is — we will tell you what we see:
In the brain (which you understand — [shaking her head with increasing foolishness]
   [Laughter.]
   — very little of ... mm.) First of all, as we have said before, the brain is more like an enormous, ah — tuning system (if we can find a physical representation). Information is not exactly stored in the brain, tucked in amongst the folds the way you store stockings in a drawer. It’s — even though you can stimulate certain areas of the brain, and produce a recognizable, predictable effect, mm — you’re really jiggling the tuning device; and it is, ah — thus produced. And even this is not — ah! Oh! This involves infinite sound, and, ah — your inner perception of divine stillness; and it involves your biochemistry, and the chemistry of the brain as part of the tuning system — on and on. All right.
Yes. In the brain, there is a structure that contains everything. And then, at certain points along the body — mm — where — you know, in the system of acupuncture you have energy forces that flow through the body. How do you think someone figured out acupuncture? What do you think?
They received it. It was revealed.
So along those points, there are — how to say — junctures. Does anyone know acupuncture, or know the lines of the body? They look like juncture points; is that so? Sort of cross-points.

   Ken: Um-hmm.

Micciah: In those cross-points are ... not mimics, but, ah — not duplicates ... (hah!) ... reflections of the structure that is held, or really floated, in the brain. It’s actually — mm — ahh, hm — [Searching for words. Sighs.] — Huh! ... It’s an energy organization. You think of the body as being made of dense stuff, yes? Well, it is! You can — sock it, and you will feel it; your nose can run. But if you take it all apart, it is, ah — your body is an ongoing series of events. It is a continuous happening. So — it’s not so much, Ken, and group, that there is a — Thing! in the brain (although that’s one way to think about it) that contains all the information. There is a floating — feast, a floating crap game —
   [Laughter.]
   — in the brain, of the event — the events of totality. Yes? And this — you could identify, and say, “Well, it’s that little squirgle over there.” But we don’t think you’re going to find it as an item, and even if you do that still won’t explain it.
So there is this organization of events that knows that it knows everything. And it beams out — it signals. It has a very complex organization of sounds, and it emits signals. And then there are — at the juncture points along the energy lines of the body, um ... [sigh] ... ah! ... this group of events called “All-Knowing” is reproduced.
Because the body — sort of doesn’t have one of anything.
So, through your systems, through your energy centers — lines — this great Knowing is reproduced.
Now you’re just on the brink of discovering (again, because it was known before, in slightly different terms) — of Knowing that you know. Through meditation, and through the kind of work that you are all doing, and millions of people are doing, you begin to change yourself — as a system, as a small planet. To transform ... and awaken. We speak, in spiritual terms, of an awakened being. When you are awakened, these centers of Knowing begin to, ah — become enlivened in a different way. So there is actual, overt communication between the self, as entity, and the Knowing. You start to Know that you know. You start to LIVE in the consciousness of: “I am the galaxies. I — AM! [striking the floor] the grasshopper.” Therefore — to bring us neatly round full circle — “I AM my acts of faith. Everything I engage with, whether an internal emotional process (so-called internal), or an overt exchange: I AM! the greater Knowing.”
And with this awakening [sigh], fear begins to melt. Because you also awaken, as you awaken, to the larger sense of all time: “I am living in the magnificence of the Here and Now! This extraordinary tossing together — of life-salad! [Amused.] And I also am in the KNOWING of my eternity. Therefore, I act with great faith.”
Sometimes — through laying on of hands, through beloved touch — when you open to the Greater, you say, “Yes, it moves through me.”
“Greater than this shall you do!” is what the healing entity known as Jesus said. “Greater than this!” — when you open to some of those wider sparks of conflict.
So — in healing, sometimes those centers are awakened. That Knowing. And when it is awakened, you Know your own healing! [With a laugh.] You know it all!
Sometimes that means that your broken bones heal. “Well, that can’t happen in the physical world!” You don’t know — salad-dressing about the physical world!
   [Laughter.]
With all your vast and complex and wonderful knowledge, there’s a lot you don’t know.
So sometimes when those centers are awakened — through acts of faith, through a great pouring down of love — limbs straighten. Teeth grow. Hearts heal. Sometimes nothing happens much in the physical, but the heart in the emotional sense heals.
Do you understand — more or less?

   Students: Yes.

Micciah: Jon, how are we for — that precious commodity of time?

   Jon: About out.

Micciah: [Sigh.] Well! We do urge you to experiment. [Voices over intercom.] You have even disembodied voices as well as this disembodied voice [laughing].
   [Laughter.]
The miracle of answering machines ... good concept, yes? An answering machine!
   [Laughter.]
Experiment! Be in the play of your faith.
We share with you ALL! much energy and much love. And we bid you a most glorious sunny day.
