MICCIAH CHANNEL: JULIE WINTER
Produced by Jon Child

Transcript of Program 170, 1991  [automated CC]

Some of Julie’s early work in channel from 1991 where Micciah discusses:
• The Prayer Basket View Section
The environment: No difficulty is too great for Spirit. Prayer and group shape-changing will inspire practical solutions. View Section
New York: An entity of great creative force. New Yorkers are like those who live next to active volcanoes. In the general breakdown of the governmental system, New York can model “a new understanding about responsibility.” Shapeshifting can be used. View Section
Witches: “Lived in an interactive universe,” aware of the “inner toning of life-forms,” connected to cycles of light. In Europe, witches’ lore threatened emerging Christian power. It connects with teachings from other star-systems. Wicca now: some practices have come down to us, orally and through dreamtime. View Section

Micciah: We greet you all, dear friends.

Julie: My Name is Julie Winter, and this program is called Micciah Channel.
And what you are going to see is me, going into an altered state of consciousness, a non-ordinary state of awareness. And what I believe happens when I am in that state is that I enter an expanded geography of the self, and that there is an overlap between what I know (my intelligence, my awareness, my experience) and something that is larger than my ordinary awareness. It may indeed be that it is all part of my awareness and that would be fine. What’s produced is a personality that is a product of this overlapping, and the personality is called Micciah.
My voice is going to change and it is my own voice. The variations in speech have to do with my being in an altered state.
The program is created from my classes. My students bring questions in. We encourage you to ask questions, to ask questions about channeling, about my channeling, whatever. And use your discernment in evaluating the information that comes through.

   ----------

Julie: This is a prayer basket. [holding prayer basket and demonstrating] These are prayers, affirmations, wishes, intentions. And what we do in healing class, in our circle, is write prayer slips for ourselves and for other people for whom we would like to offer affirmations of love and wholeness, as well as for the planet.
And we would like to include you who watch on television in the healing activities of this group. Then I lay hands on the prayer basket. [to the class] We could all lay hands on the prayer basket at the end.
We would like you to send in your prayer slips and make a big prayer basket so that we who are linked in this relatively abstract way of video can be linked as a circle, as a web of prayers and affirmations for peace and harmony.

Micciah: We greet you all, dear friends. And we are most pleased to be with you.
So! Please, let us have your questions.

Joy: I’m really concerned about the environment.

   Micciah: [Whisper.] Yes!

Joy: And, ah — can you shed any — I mean, all the animals, everything; it just seems —

   Micciah: [Whisper.] Yes.

Joy: And every time I read about more rain forests being destroyed ... is there any hope? Can you, can you —?

   Micciah: Oh, yes. [Whisper.] Yesss.

Joy: Will we band together before it’s all destroyed?

Micciah: Well, you have destroyed a great deal. In your struggle to awaken yourselves [with a laugh], on a path that has embodied thousands of years of violence, you have destroyed a great deal.
And yes — you must know it can be transformed. Nothing — nothing is too large an undertaking for Spirit! And you are all Spirit. Nothing.
[Loudly.] And we are not speaking alone of technical know-how, of the inspiration toward the technical means to rejuvenate, resuscitate. We are speaking also of, ah — the prayers that you offer. Now, multiplied by the millions. You know, even with the actions in the rain forest and so forth, there has been an upsurge in the public consciousness about this, at the same time that there are boiling fires from the war, and all of that. It is much more in the forefront of, let us say, the media consciousness, the greater consciousness.
The prayers that you offer are of great value; and the practice of working together (we wish you would do it consistently, as a group) with what is called shape-changing, when you enter into an environment (let us say, the burning in the Middle East, the fires in the Middle East) — you enter into that consciousness (that has a consciousness: it has a physical reality and it has a consciousness) — you enter into the consciousness as a group, and you — you clear it, and clean the air, and damp out the fires. And heal it, with love; as well as behaving, in a practical way, in a manner that supports the earth. So there is the level of prayer. There is the level of work, focused work individually and in groups, that is work in consciousness, with — clearing.
You see — if you set up a condition in the energy world, in the luminous world, the nonphysical realm, of — let us say — putting out the fires, and you work with it very consistently, and you also work with prayer — not hating the fire but surrounding the situation with the enormous love of Spirit, turning it over to Spirit — that will inspire practical solutions. When you give energy to something in consciousness, you inspire information to come through the physical dimension into the relative world that can support change. Think of the ingenuity you have used to create weaponry! Yes, all of the intelligence that has been focused in the idea realm — in the malleable, creative realm of ideas — around enmity, and how to get them. “Get the bad guys!” or “Protect the good guys!”
That focus in consciousness has created, ah — piles of ingenious ideas. So, in the same way, you can participate in creating what will then emerge in the physical world as solutions — in addition to the practical, obvious solutions of behaving immediately in ways that are protective, in ways that acknowledge the voice of Spirit in everything, ways that conserve and bless and appreciate everything: all that comes from the earth.
So — yes! Yes! It is important that you keep in your consciousness the healing [sigh]. [Whisper.] Yes. [Aloud.] Is that clear?

   Students: Yes. Yes. Thank you.

Micciah: [Whisper.] Yes. [Aloud.] Please go on.

Barbara: I have a question on the fate of New York.

   Micciah [very loudly]: YESSS!
   [Laughter.]
   The Big Apple —
   [Laughter.]
   — where you all sit, comfortable and yet precariously perched, in the midst of a city that completely represents the consciousness of extremes.
   [Laughter.]
You know, areas — cities, countryside, rural areas, the communities you create as human creatures — have their own consciousness. New York is (quite obviously, about New York) an entity, and it has a creative aspect and it has, ah — a digestive — it needs to be fed — a digestive aspect ... it has a feeling-tone.
As we have said before: living in New York — those who live in New York — are akin to those who live next to active volcanoes.
   [Uproarious laughter.]
There are villages where they can HEAR the volcanic rumbling, and lava flows periodically, and then periodically there is an eruption. And, curiously, these places are not abandoned. There will be an eruption, and then great rebuilding, and people will recongregate — right there, next to the volcano.
So, this city is very much like living with a volcano. And, ah — it is, as an entity, enormously potent and creative. Do not think for one minute it will go under! No! There is tremendous creative force in this city. And, ah ... it is time for many who live here to take into their own hands the responsibility for the well-being in the city.
Now, you could say, politically, practically — well, you pay very high taxes; you are paying for this to be done. BUT: the system of paying taxes, and having Mother-Father Government take care of certain functions, is clearly breaking down, yes? Not just in New York. It is breaking down — right, left, and center. So, if you hear this as the voice of Spirit singing to you, it might be saying that it is time for you to allow yourselves in New York to become a different kind of community. And this city is very capable of grabbing hold and taking care where it needs to be done: of recycling, of cleaning; of, ah — even — even of working with the very violent ... elements — people who are tormented, and in pain; taking care of the homeless. Much can be done; and we would encourage you strongly to allow yourselves to become personally responsible, because we assure you it will not happen from the level of government.
The fact of governments disintegrating is an attempt — albeit an uncomfortable and difficult and potentially dangerous one — to move into another understanding about responsibility. And New York, always at the forefront, can be a model for that.
The situation is very volatile. So much unrest and poverty. But if you commit yourselves, the energetic potential is — completely present in this city. It is an entity of great ingenuity, great force, and — strangely — protective of its own.
   [Pause.] The possibility is there.

Barbara: Micciah, could you use shape-shifting?

Micciah: Oh — of course, yes! Oh, yes! You can use it about the city, and put — pods of consciousness into action. Absolutely.

   ----------

Julie: Okay, stop for a moment and pay attention to what your response is to the information that’s just been channeled. Does it seem to be comfortable, right and appropriate for you? Would you like to think about it further? What does your body feel like right now? What is your breath like right now? And now we’re going to go back and do some more channeling.

   ----------

   Micciah: Please go on.

Barrie: I have a question about witches in the modern world.

Micciah: [Whisper.] Yes! [Aloud.] Witches — practitioners of the Craft, Wicca.
The witches understood the interrelationship of all elements, between all elements of life. We are going to treat it as an entity, but of course there were many different kinds of people who were practitioners of the Craft.
They lived with a keenly attuned awareness of the rhythms of the inner toning of life-forms. That is how they did magic: they were connected to the cycles of light, to the potent gateways of the seasons. (We are speaking of witches in the European tradition: they exist in many, many cultures, and they are called different things.)
The equinoxes and the solstices are gateways in consciousness, when, ah — power, energy, pours into the physical dimension. And they knew — know — the cycling of the moon, and its effect, in the most immediate sense, on the well-being of all life. And they worked with shape-shifting, shape-changing, and lived in an interactive universe. They were not passive observers but active appreciators of life, of sexuality, of bodily functions, of the cycles of growth. And they were able to project themselves and move in other realms: thus the image of the witch on the broomstick, which refers to the capacity of those who were highly trained to travel in their light-bodies from place to place.
Witches now explore these same kinds of things. Some of the teachings have been lost. They knew the healing powers of food, of herbs, of bark and root, leaves — because they could see them with the inner eye and hear the toning with the inner ear. And the teaching of the witches is connected with the great spiritual teachings that came to you from — other places, other star systems.
When Christianity began to emerge as a power for teaching and as an economic force, in Europe, the witches were a great threat. They did not — hm. They, like the Native American people, did not own land; they did not think of land as something that was available for ownership. And their sexual practices were very free, many of them; and they were not, oftentimes, monogamous. They had a different understanding of relationship, of child rearing, of child bearing. They had a great deal of knowledge that the Church was threatened by. They were midwives of great skill. They used herbs not only as painkillers but to induce altered states, in childbirth; they could work with shapeshifting to go in and pull a baby out.
They were not only women, you know. They were men as well.
The trees were sacred to them. So — the Church, as it was known, as it developed in the times of the Dark Ages (Middle Ages), spread the bad word about witches. And the same, of course, later in America. Such violent hatred. And then for women who virtually knew nothing about witchcraft: they were not — witches were trained — they were not witches, they were scapegoats and recipients of virulent hatred. [Whisper.] So —

Barrie: And today? Witches — people — manifest the practices, or not at all?

Micciah: Yes, they do; the practices have come down — not only through oral teachings, stories, verbal histories, but through dreamtime, and from the desire of some to recapture, re- um — revivify (is that right?) that knowledge. So, yes, it exists now. Not exactly in its original form. As a group — group consciousness, these were beings who had great respect for life, great affection. It was a teaching very much engaged with the earth, as well as Heaven. And women were very powerful. Hmm.
And with that we will stop.
We share with you much love, and much appreciation, energy, and joy. And we bid you all a very good — [whisper] day.

Julie: That’s the end of this particular segment... of this particular adventure. And this channeling is meant to be a spiritual, emotional, intellectual, heartful, mindful journey that I share with another realm, that I share with my classes and that we all share with you.
Please go over the material, evaluate it for yourself, and know what it is that you think about it.
